Chapter 11
"Ah!"
At that moment, I slipped in the bathroom. I was only wearing a thin bath towel around me, and I let out an exaggerated scream.
There was a rush of footsteps outside the door. Ethan Zhou burst in almost instantly.
"Olivia, are you okay?"
His eyes fell on me, and his dark eyes suddenly contracted. Even the dim light couldn't hide the bright red blush on Ethan Zhou's face.
"I... I didn't mean to. I thought something happened to you." He looked away, saying he was going to close the door.
"Wait a minute." I quickly stopped him. "I twisted my ankle. Even if you're going to leave, you should help me up first, right?"
"Oh." He walked forward awkwardly, picking up my clothes from the washing machine and handing them to me. "Put these on first."
I gave him a quick glance, then struggled to prop myself up and put on the clothes.
He looked away as if he'd seen something dirty.
The pajamas were a knee-length nightgown—no need to put on pants, so it was easy to put on and take off.
"You can turn around now."
Only then did he dare to look at me directly. "So... now what?"
What should I do? I feel like I can't seduce this block of wood.
I rubbed my forehead. "Carry me to the sofa."
Ethan Zhou put one hand around my waist, then slid the other under my knees, lifting me up easily.
He carried me to the bed, about to put me down.
This was make-or-break time!
I used a little trick, tugging at his clothes. He lost his balance and fell on top of me.
The atmosphere froze instantly.
Unlike last time, Ethan Zhou was completely awake this time.
He jumped up like he'd been pricked by a needle. "You're not wearing a bra?"
Oh, I really did forget—not on purpose to seduce you.
Now I was embarrassed too. I stammered. "I... I didn't bring it into the bathroom. I forgot to put it on."
Somehow, this sentence seemed to hit a nerve. His tone turned cold instantly. "Olivia Lin, what's wrong with you? I'm a man, for God's sake! Do you have no sense of self-preservation at all?"
So you do know you're a man.
This made me fired up. "Anyway, in your eyes, I'm just a kid. Even if I stood in front of you naked, you wouldn't react at all, would you?"
Ethan Zhou frowned tightly, his breathing becoming a little unsteady. The next second, before I could say anything else, his soft lips pressed firmly against mine.
My mind went blank—all my thoughts were swept away by his kiss.
I didn't know how long it lasted. I was almost out of breath by the time he pulled away.
It wasn't until I felt something pressing against my lower abdomen—something that was getting harder—that I snapped back to reality.
The man in front of me finally let go of my lips. He looked down at the change in his body, a playful smirk on his face. "Olivia Lin, this is my reaction to you."
"You......" I was so red in the face I could barely speak.
He suddenly pulled me into his arms. "I like you—can't you tell?"
I clung tightly to his clothes. "Was I supposed to tell?"
He smiled, then suddenly pulled out a necklace from his pocket and put it around my neck.
"I added that girl's WeChat earlier, right? I thought the necklace she was wearing looked nice, so I bought a different style for you—as a confession gift. I didn't expect you to make the first move."
I was shocked. "You knew I was doing it on purpose the whole time?"
He raised an eyebrow. "Your acting skills aren't that great."
"Ethan Zhou, you're such a jerk!"
"Yeah. And you're my cure."
