Chapter 11
My Husband Let the Scheming Other Woman Move Into Our Home • Chapter 13
Chapter 11
"Were you with him all morning?" Ethan’s voice came from behind me. He’d always hated my friendship with Noah, claiming he "loved me too much to let any other man get close." Now, he looked furious.
"Aren’t you the one who spent the whole night with Luna? Did I say anything about that?" I stared at him coldly.
"It’s not the same! Luna was traumatized last night—I had no choice but to stay with her!"
"Ethan Wilson, do you even hear yourself right now?" I couldn’t help but laugh bitterly. "Ethan Wilson, I don’t care what you do with Luna, but don’t interfere with my life either."
Ethan froze. "Are you jealous of Luna? Did you run to Noah to spite me?" He sounded so sure of himself. How had I never noticed how disgusting and shameless he was?
"Luna Parker is like family to me, and you’re my wife. Why would you be jealous of her?" He continued, his voice dripping with arrogance. "If you’re unhappy, just tell me. But using Noah to play these petty games to make me jealous? When did you become so childish?"
"Ethan Wilson, you think too highly of yourself." I snapped. "If I were jealous of Luna, I wouldn’t try to win you back—I’d divorce you."
I walked into my office, slamming the door in his face.
"Sophia Carter, what do you mean by that?" He followed me in.
"Exactly what you think." I turned to him. "I’m working now. Please leave."
Seeing how serious I was, Ethan didn’t dare anger me further. He stormed out, slamming the door.
How had I been so blind all these years? What had happened to Ethan? He was like a stranger—nothing like the gentle, humble boy I’d once known. I closed my eyes, overwhelmed with pain.
I missed the Ethan Wilson from college.
